Prior to being the VP of Customer Experience at FindItOutFirst, Charles was the Director of Design at the New York Herald where he was responsible for implementing a service-design approach and integrating the Herald's customer experiences across the Web, mobile and offline.

Charles is the author of the book Experience Matters, two previous Web design books (Experience. Does it Matter? and Engagement Matters) and many articles about design and user-centered design.
